---Stories Written With Love---

NEWSLETTER

Karice grew up in the small town of Woodinville, Washington when Cabbage Patch Kids and Strawberry Shortcake were the must-haves of the holiday season. While making it through the eighties relatively unscathed, she jumped into all of the Sweet Valley High books, Judy Blume's books, Monica Furlong's "Wise Child", and C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia, and her love affair with all things written began. Yes, even a cereal box would do for reading material.

She met her future husband in tenth grade. Thankfully, even at that age, he understood her love of books, and she continued reading whenever she had a spare minute.

Staying close to home, she went to the University of Washington and studied Literature and Arts while pursuing her undergrad degree. To help pay for college, she worked at one of the most well-known soda companies out there. She swore off the corporate world right after graduation, yet she found herself right back in the corporate world pulling reports and creating presentations for that well-known soda company once again.

Reading was one of her outlets and so was writing. It wasn't until she finished her first manuscript, that she realized she would find a way to continue writing no matter how late at night or early in the morning. Again, her wonderful husband and two crazy, cute English bulldogs understood as she typed away at all hours of the night. (The plus side is that her husband has become an excellent cook!)

‚ÄčThe popularity of her first series, The Watchers Trilogy, allowed Karice to become a full-time writer and she's been grateful to her readers ever since. She feels like the luckiest lady on the planet and can't thank her readers enough for giving her stories a chance and a place in their lives.

Somewhere during her second series, Witch Avenue, Karice went back to school and obtained a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. She can now be found working away on several projects while fitting in crafts, baking, and spending time with her family in Washington.
